I kept seeing these cute hair bows all over the internet and decided to try it out on my own. My girls had a few sets I got at the store and love putting them in their hair, I figured if they can glue some ribbon together and sell them like crazy, so could I! I found a DIY tutorial and started just making the Korker style bows and setting them on lined alligator clips. Those were the style I had purchased at the store. They are pretty simple to make and being the overachiever I am, I had to find the hardest style and try it out. I have found a few different names for the style, but I like Funky Loopy Bows. There are many tutorials out there for purchase, but I just made mine up as I went along and it turned out great. It is just a whole bunch of different ribbons in different textures and any other type of colorful decorations you want to put in. The first one I made has 9 types of ribbon, some curled, some short lengths V cut at the ends and some looped. I added some short pieces of tulle and little pearl strands. It is all attached to a lined alligator clip. I tried it in my oldest daughter Natalee's hair and fell in love! The pictures don't do it justice.
If anyone is interested in purchasing them, I am making a flyer with the different styles I can do and also putting them on my new etsy site http://www.enchantedbabies.etsy.com/ as soon as I have enough stock. If you want one custom made with specific colors before I put them on the website just email me and I can make one just for you!
